Menginstall Mapsource dan peta digital

Karena dua hari lagi saya akan berangkat ke luar kota, saya mencoba mencari peta digital yang bisa memudahkan saya untuk berkeliaran di kota tujuan dan kalau mungkin daerah-daerah tetangganya. :ninja: :alien: Walaupun bisa bertanya-tanya pada penduduk di sana, tapi sepertinya akan lebih mudah bila saya sudah mempunyai sedikit persiapan sebelumnya.

Akhirnya pencarian ini tidak sia-sia. Tidak hanya kota tujuan, saya bahkan mendapatkan peta Indonesia dari situs ini. Petanya bisa didapatkan di sini. Peta ini akan diupdate setiap bulan. Jadi usahakan selalu mengupdate dengan versi yang terbaru.

Peta sudah didapat, selanjutnya mengunduh softwarenya. Software yang dipilih adalah Mapsource v6.15.6 yang saya download dari sini atau bisa juga diunduh dari sini. Kalau peta dan software sudah siap, berarti proses instalasi sudah bisa dimulai.

Yang pertama harus diinstall adalah Mapsourcenya. Dari pengalaman yang sebelumnya, software ini dibuat sebagai upgrade dari versi-versi terdahulu. Dengan kata lain, hanya bisa diinstall bila anda telah menginstall Mapsouce versi terdahulu. Lalu bagaimana jika di komputer/laptop anda belum pernah ada Mapsourcenya? Jangan khawatir. Kita pakai cara lainnya saja. :devil:

Ada dua cara untuk menginstallnya. Cara pertama, ekstrak file hasil unduh Mapsource dengan software archiver seperti winzip, winrar, winace atau 7zip. Lalu JALANKAN file MAIN.MSI. Sekali lagi ingat, JALANKAN file MAIN.MSI dan BUKAN Setup.exe.

Atau cara kedua, download software Garmin Training Center di sini, lalu install. Kemudian install Mapsource seperti biasa.

Sampai disini, Mapsource sudah terinstall. Langkah berikutnya adalah menjalankan file unduhan peta Indonesia. Langsung klik filenya, setelah prosesnya selesai, peta Indonesia udah otomatis terpasang pada Mapsource anda. :whistle:
